Construction

  • Compact design with guides integrated into the table frame
  • Plasma cutting system for personal use providing high value at a lost cost
  • Machine can be moved and transported in its fully assembled state
  • The machine has a segment-wise suction of the working surface, whereby the respective suction flap is opened mechanically by the machine bridge passing.

Transmission and drives

  • Careful selection of the optimum components ensures that the same cutting functionality is available as in large plasma cutting systems
  • Dynamic AC servo drives from Panasonic on all axes with maintenance-free, zero-backlash planetary gears
  • The drives on both sides of the machine bridge and the drive of the X-slide along the machine bridge are carried out in a permanently precise manner by helical rack and pinion
  • Linear guide ways from on all axes, designed for long life and smooth motion even at high speeds. The width of linear guides on X/Y axes is 20/20 mm

Cutting head

  • The distance between plasma cutting nozzle and plate surface is maintained by the Z axis height control; height control is regulated by an electric arc
  • Plasma cutter head with collision guard

Control

  • CNC controller from Eckelmann
  • The Eckelmann IBE software is delviered as standard.

  • The CutFire 100i is a powerful air/plasma system available at low cost, but suitable for wide variety of applications.
  • It is equipped with the latest inverter technology and is one of the few air-cooled systems on the market that offers a duty cycle of 100%. 
  • The cutting inverters CutFire 100i built in or after 2017 are equipped with the new Flash 101 machine torch. With its new consumables the torch uses air as swirl gas. The air rotating around the plasma arc stabilizes the arc to allow up to 20 mm deep piercing cuts.
  • The cooling and protective effect of the swirl gas ensures higher cutting speeds and longer consumable life.
  • The CutFire 100i is ideally suited for cutting thin sheets for ventilation systems and control cabinet construction, metal building applications, as well as many other craft, production and industrial operations.
