Machine Frame

• The machine frame is made of a stress-relieved steel weldment and features a swing-beam design
• With this design, the cutter beam travels in a swinging movement so that the distance between upper and lower knife will be restored automatically after each cut
• The advantages of this design are low-torsion cuts, a more reliable release of cut parts, extended knife life, and easy kerf adjustments

Material Support

• The large work table features roller balls and a rigid adjustable angular stop for easy handling and safe plate alignment
• Long, sturdy support arms safely hold large plates

Hydraulics

• The entire hydraulic system is reliable, low-maintenance and easy to service
• During the cut, hydraulically regulated hold-downs ensure steady fixation of the sheet metal plate close to the cut-line

Back Gauge

• The back gauge system is very robust and perfectly suited for rough production environments
• Preloaded ball screws are mounted in a protective enclosure

Equipment

• The user-friendly ESTUN 21 NC control positions the back gauge precisely both in single cuts and within program runs
• The machine is operated via a mobile foot pedal with emergency stop switch
• The exact cut line is visible on the metal sheet as a shadow graph
